Questions
About these duas
Where do these duas come from?
Every dua here is from the Qur'an or from a hadith of the Prophet ﷺ, and each page names its source with the hadith number so you can check it.
Do I need wudu to make dua?
No. Wudu is good but not required for dua or dhikr. Only touching the mushaf and salah need wudu.
Can I make dua in my own language?
Yes. Outside salah you can ask Allah in any language and in your own words. The duas taught in the Qur'an and Sunnah carry extra blessing, so learn them too.
How can my children learn these?
Start with the short ones: before eating, after eating, before sleeping and Ghufranak. Our free printable dua cards make it easier.
