About this programme

Enrich your Salah with memorised Surahs

Not everyone is ready to commit to the full Hifz journey — but everyone can experience the beauty and spiritual reward of memorising key Surahs. This focused one-year programme gives students exactly that.

Over the course of a year, students memorise the most important Surahs used in daily Salah and regular worship — all with correct Tajweed. By the end, their prayers are enriched and their connection with the Qur'an is deepened.

Classes are live and one-to-one, five times a week at a time that suits you, taught in Urdu and Hindi. We have both male and female teachers, so sisters and daughters can study with a female teacher throughout.

This programme is also an excellent foundation for students who may wish to pursue full Qur'an memorisation in future — building confidence, habit and love for Qur'anic memorisation in a manageable first step.

Is this programme right for you?

  • You want to memorise key Surahs for daily Salah
  • You can already read the Qur'an — no prior memorisation needed
  • You want a focused, structured one-year programme
  • You are not yet ready for the full Hifz commitment
  • Children and adults are both welcome
  • You would prefer a female teacher

This may not be suitable if:

  • The student cannot yet read the Qur'an — please explore our other courses first
  • You want to memorise the complete Qur'an — our full Hifz programme is the right fit

How classes work

What to expect every week

01

New memorisation

Each session includes new verses to memorise. The teacher recites correctly first, then the student repeats until the verses are committed to memory.

02

Revision of recent work

Recent memorisation is revised in every session to ensure it is solidified before moving forward. Strong revision habits are the key to lasting memorisation.

03

Tajweed throughout

Correct Tajweed is maintained throughout every memorised verse. The teacher listens carefully and corrects any errors in pronunciation or application.

04

Parent updates

Parents receive regular updates on what has been memorised and how the student is progressing.

Our teachers hold a formal Ijazah and Sanad in Riwayat Hafs, within a family teaching lineage spanning more than 50 years. That matters for memorisation: every Surah a student commits to memory is heard and corrected by a teacher whose own recitation has been certified — so what is memorised is memorised correctly the first time. We have both male and female teachers, so sisters and daughters can study with a female teacher throughout.

Questions

Frequently asked about this course

Which Surahs exactly will be memorised?
The programme covers the most commonly used Surahs in daily Salah — including Al-Fatiha, the four Quls, and shorter Surahs from the 30th Juz — along with longer Surahs such as Al-Mulk, Yaseen, Al-Waqiah and Al-Kahf. The exact selection is tailored to the student's age, level and progress.
Does the student need prior knowledge to join?
The student should be able to read the Qur'an before starting this programme. No prior memorisation is needed. If they cannot yet read, please get in touch and we will point you to the right starting course.
How is this different from the full Hifz programme?
The full Hifz programme covers memorisation of the entire Qur'an over several years. This programme focuses on selected key Surahs over one year — a meaningful, achievable commitment for those not yet ready for the full journey.
Is there a female teacher for sisters and daughters?
Yes. We have both male and female teachers, and female students can complete the entire programme with a female teacher. Please mention this when you book your trial class and we will arrange it.
Can this lead to the full Hifz programme?
Absolutely. Many students complete this programme and go on to full Qur'an memorisation. It builds the habits, confidence and love of memorisation that make the longer journey much more achievable.
How much does the programme cost?
Full fees are listed on our fees and plans page . There is no registration fee and no cancellation fee, and the first trial class is always free.
What language are the classes taught in?
Classes are taught in Urdu and Hindi. The Qur'anic text is of course in Arabic, and the teacher explains and corrects in Urdu and Hindi.
Who can enrol in this programme?
This programme is currently offered to students in India. Class timings follow Indian Standard Time, and our team will help you find a slot that suits you when you book a trial class.
What do we need to join a class?
A phone, tablet or laptop with an internet connection, and a copy of the Qur'an. We send the class link before each session, so there is nothing complicated to set up.
Is a certificate issued at the end?
Yes — a certificate is issued on successful completion of the programme.
