Qur'an Classes for Women

Learn the Qur'an from home with a female teacher. Start from the first Arabic letters one-to-one, or go further with Tajweed, Hifz and an Ijazah with Sanad in Riwayat Hafs. Live classes in Urdu and Hindi.

Learn with a female teacher

Many sisters want to learn the Qur'an but feel uncomfortable reading aloud in a mixed class, or can't find a female teacher nearby. At Jamia Hafs, sisters can study with a female teacher in live online classes, from home and at a time that suits them.

Courses for sisters

  • Fluent Qur'an Reading (₹800/month): for sisters only, taught one-to-one by a female tutor with flexible timing, five days a week. For complete beginners, and for sisters who can read but want to finish reading the Qur'an.
  • Basic Tajweed (₹500/month): a one-year course for those who already read fluently, with female teachers available. A Sanad in Riwayat Hafs is given on completion.
  • Advanced Tajweed (₹500/month): a two-year course for sisters who know the basics of Tajweed, ending in an Ijazah with Sanad in Riwayat Hafs.
  • Hifz (₹800/month): memorise the full Qur'an or selected surahs, one-to-one with flexible timing.

For daughters aged 4 to 13, our online madrasa (Maktab) is taught by a female teacher.
