Making Ramadan special for children
Children love to feel part of Ramadan. Let them practise half-day fasts, join the family at sehri and iftar, and tick off their prayers and good deeds on the tracker. Praise the effort, not only the result.
Print the pack before Ramadan begins and keep the tracker on the fridge, where everyone can see it.
Fasting becomes fard at puberty. Before that, children can practise with part-day fasts and build up, so that fasting comes naturally by the time it is required.
Is the pack free?
Yes, every sheet is free to print and share.
How do I use the tracker?
Tick each box for the fast, the five prayers, Qur'an reading and a good deed. Children can colour the boxes too.
What age is it for?
About 5 to 12. Younger children can colour and tick with help.
