Trace My Du'as: Arabic Handwriting for Kids
Read it, trace it, write it: nine short du'as to practise in Arabic handwriting.
Updated 25 October 2026
Writing a du'a helps a child remember it. Each block on these three pages shows a short du'a in clear Arabic, two grey copies to trace and a line to write it alone, with the transliteration and meaning underneath. The du'as are the ones children use every day: Bismillah, Ghufranak, Rabbi zidni 'ilma, Alhamdulillah, the du'a before sleeping, the du'a for parents, the masjid du'as and the greeting of salam.
Step by step
- 1Read the first line together
- 2Trace the two grey lines with a pencil
- 3Write the du'a alone on the last line
- 4Say it aloud and use it that day
Copied from the source
The Arabic of every du'a is copied directly from the hadith books and the Qur'an, never typed by hand.
How to use it
Print the three pages and do one block a day. Ask your child to say the du'a whenever the moment comes: before eating, before sleeping, at the masjid.
