5–10 minutes to recitetime it takesSurah Luqman is the 31st surah of the Qur'an. It has 34 ayat, was revealed in Makkah, and is found in Juz 21. It is named after Luqman, a wise man whom Allah gave wisdom, and records the advice he gave his son.
That advice (ayat 12 to 19) is one of the best-loved passages for families: worship Allah alone, be grateful, honour your parents, establish the prayer, enjoin good, be patient, do not be arrogant, walk modestly and lower your voice. The surah ends with the five matters whose knowledge is with Allah alone.
This sheet gives you the full surah in clear Arabic, with each ayah numbered and wide lines that never touch the letters, so it is easy to read, follow with a finger and memorise. Print it in A4 or US Letter size.
