Rakat Chart: How Many Rak'ahs in Each Prayer
Every rak'ah of the five daily prayers and Jumu'ah on one page, in the order they are prayed, following the Hanafi school.
Updated 25 October 2026
Each daily prayer is made up of a set number of rak'ahs, and each set has its own ruling: Fard, Wajib, Sunnah or Nafl. Knowing the count and the order is the first step to praying every Salah completely.
This chart shows each prayer as a row of squares, one square for every rak'ah, coloured by its type and set out in the order they are prayed. The total for each prayer sits on the right, with Jumu'ah shown separately.
It follows the Hanafi school and fits on a single page, so it can go straight on the wall beside your prayer mat.
