Prophet Ayyub and His Patience: A Free Qur'an Storybook for Kids
The story of Prophet Ayyub (peace be upon him), told simply for children with pictures, his du'a from the Qur'an and a colouring page.
Updated 25 October 2026
Allah gave Prophet Ayyub (peace be upon him) many blessings: fields, flocks, wealth and a loving family. Then Allah tested him. He lost his wealth and his family, and he became ill for a long time. Through it all he stayed patient and never complained about Allah.
Then he called out to his Lord with a short, beautiful du'a. Allah answered him at once: a cool spring burst from the ground, his illness was taken away, and his family was given back to him, and the same again with them. In the Qur'an Allah says: "We found him patient. What an excellent servant!"
At the end there are three questions to talk about together, the du'a of Prophet Ayyub (21:83) in Arabic with transliteration and meaning, and a page to colour in.
