About this programme

One of the highest qualifications in Qur'anic sciences

The Advanced Tajweed programme is not for everyone — and that is precisely what makes it so valuable. It is a serious, structured 2-year journey designed for students who have already mastered the basics of Tajweed and want to go further.

On successful completion, students receive a formal Ijazah and Sanad in Riwayat Hafs. A Sanad is an unbroken chain of narration — a documented connection from teacher to teacher, reaching all the way back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is one of the most respected credentials in Islamic scholarship.

Very few teachers in the world are qualified to issue this certification. Mufti Ataul Rehman is one of them — and through Jamia Hafs, he makes this level of study accessible to serious students worldwide.
